# Deribit liquidations withdrawn

The two Deribit liquidation series were withdrawn on 7 September 2026 and have no replacement. Requests for them now say so.

## What's new

Deribit liquidation data is no longer offered. Two metrics were withdrawn effective 7 September 2026:

- `bitcoin_liquidations_deribit_long`
- `bitcoin_liquidations_deribit_short`

Deribit's public feed reports insurance-fund settlements, not liquidation orders, so it cannot give an honest liquidation figure. There is no replacement series. The other venues on the [Liquidations](https://newhedge.io/bitcoin/liquidations) chart are unchanged.

A request for either metric returns 404, as before. The response now says the metric was withdrawn, since when, and why:

The three extra fields appear only for a withdrawn metric.
